Learn More About 7 Day Home Care

Have a home care-related question? We have the answer! Check out our FAQs below to learn more about our company and services.

  • How do Home Health Aides help?

A Home Health Aide's responsibilities depend on the needs of the individual client. For instance, the Home Health Aide may assist the client with activities of daily living: showering, dressing, toileting, ambulation and feeding. Our caregivers can also both schedule and accompany you on appointments, assist with preparing meals, provide light housekeeping, and medication reminders.

At 7 Day Home Care, our Home Health Aides also play a crucial role in providing compassionate companionship to individuals in need. Beyond their fundamental responsibilities in assisting with daily living activities, our Home Health Aides are dedicated to fostering a supportive and empathetic environment. They engage in meaningful conversations, actively listen to clients, and offer companionship that goes beyond the physical care routine. Whether it's sharing stories, playing games, or simply offering a friendly presence, our Home Health Aides understand the importance of emotional well-being and social connection.

By building strong relationships with clients, they not only contribute to the overall health and happiness of those under their care but also create a comforting and enriching atmosphere within the home.

  • What are the hours an Home Health Aide (HHA) works?

The hours are flexible. Our Registered Nurse and our administrators work directly with families to develop a schedule that meets the needs of each patient. Our caregivers work day or overnight, both part-time shifts as well as 12 hour shifts. Other cases require "live in" care, or 24/7 Home Health Aide care. When it comes to searching for "home care near me," we will create a plan that's right for you, and make adjustments along the way as circumstances may change.

  • Do you provide home health care services for someone that resides in an assisted living facility?

Yes, we do. We will work closely with your family and/or other authorized practitioner to develop a plan of care for the Home Health Aide to follow. We have worked in dozens of assisted living facilities throughout the New York metropolitian area for many years.

  • How is the care that 7 Day Home Care provides supervised?

All care provided to our patients by our Home Health Aides pr Personal Care Aides is closely monitored and supervised by the company’s Director of Patients Services, Registered Nurse.
